Here are some commonly asked questions and answers regarding Melanie Jane Immigration Consulting and our Canadian immigration services for individuals and businesses.

Time taken in a consultation is time away from clients who have paid for work.  We have found that clients who pay for a consultation value our time and are serious about their immigration dream.  We deduct the cost of the consultation from the fee quoted for your application process.
There are different considerations for each stream of immigration.  We review all available options and recommend to you the option you qualify for and that provides the best chance of success.  No two applications are the same and not everyone qualifies for the same stream.  We make our recommendation based on your specific profile and objective.

You may not sponsor your siblings for Canadian permanent residence.  The ability to sponsor an adult sibling only occurs in a very specific situation.
You do not need to be married to sponsor a common-law spouse.  If you have been living together as a couple for 12 months or longer, your relationship is considered a common-law marriage.  You will be required to provide proof of your common-law relationship.

One of the things the deciding Officer at IRCC must consider is if the applicant will return to their home country after visiting Canada.  One of the ways this is demonstrated is by showing a history of travel to other countries.
Your education is a personal decision that you make based on your desires and goals for your future.  Canada has many regions with different education facilities.  We recommend you research programs of study in the region of Canada where you would like to be.

No.  Canada’s immigration process does not prioritise applicants who pay more.  No one can guarantee you a Work Permit.  If we believe you qualify for a Work Permit, we work hard to provide you with the strongest application possible to get approval.  If you do not qualify for any of the Work Permit avenues, we will decline to do your application.
